2025 Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Multimedia Forensics and Disinformation Detection

Catégorie : Conférence internationale

********** CALL FOR PAPERS **********

2025 Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Multimedia Forensics and Disinformation Detection
organized at the 2025 IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV)
Endorsed by IAPR TC-6
*********************************************

The second edition of the AI4MFDD workshop is intended to disseminate recent developments in AI-enabled multimedia forensics and disinformation detection methods. Multimedia data carries not only value in its content but also value in digital forensics for combating crimes and fraudulent activities. Deliberate manipulations of multimedia content for malicious purposes have been a prevailing problem in many walks of life. With the phenomenal leap of AI and deep learning in recent years, realistically forged multimedia data are appearing as disinformation and fake news, which can impact social justice at the personal level, major political campaigns at the national level, and the stability of international relationships at the international level. The AI4MFDD2025 workshop will facilitate synergies in research and development in the areas of multimedia forensics and disinformation detection by attracting international participants from academia, law enforcement, industry, and end-users. We invite submission on the following topics, especially solutions that leverage multiple modalities in the data, i.e., video/images, text, and audio:
• Multimedia forgery detection
• Forensic techniques for multimedia repurposing detection
• Deepfake detection and deepfake dataset creation
• Multimedia content integrity verification and copyright protection through intrinsic and extrinsic data
• Techniques to quantitively assess the credibility of multimedia data
• Disinformation detection and disinformation dataset creation, including the analysis and detection of propaganda and hoaxes
• Online platform provenance analysis methods that reveal the sharing history of multimedia data
• Analysis of disinformation creation and distribution through social networks
• Sybil nodes and sybil network detection
• Anti-forensics and counter anti-forensics measures
• Novel application of techniques to multimedia forensic cases, particularly those involving the law enforcement and industry Manuscript Submission
