2 Postdoctoral posts available immediately on i) physical layer security for 6G, ii) semantic and context aware 6G security

ETIS: 2 Postdoc Positions on Semantic and Context Aware 6G Security

The postdocs will work on the PEPR Future Networks project FOUNDS, funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Horizon Europe SNS Project ROBUST-6G at the ETIS Laboratory (ENSEA). Applications are sought from candidates with an outstanding academic background and expertise in at least one of the following topics:
- Semantic communications and context extraction
- Machine learning for communications and / or security
- Physical layer security, information theoretic security
and related topics. Demonstrable mathematical skills and familiarity with 5G standards will be an advantage. Experience in proposal writing will be an advantage.
 

 

-Starting date: as soon as possible
-Full-time, 1.5-year fixed term contracts (with the possibility of an extension)

 

About the opportunity and us

The postdoctoral researchers will join the ETIS Laboratory UMR 8051 and will work under the supervision of Prof. Arsenia (Ersi) Chorti (for informal inquiries please email arsenia.chorti@ensea.fr). The postdocs will be located at the École Nationale Supérieure de l'Électronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA), at the outskirts of Paris (Cergy Prefecture) in France.

 

About you
Applicants must have (or be close to completion) a PhD degree in a relevant area, an excellent publication record and should be familiar with key engineering programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, etc.). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team will be essential. Excellent knowledge of the English language is required.
