Announcement: 1st French-Italian workshop MIA-MIVA, September 12-14 2022, Laboratoire I3S, Sophia-Antipolis, France

Dear colleagues,

With the intent of fostering collaborations and scientific exchanges between the French RT MIA and the Italian analog Gruppo UMI MIVA we organise for the dates 12-14 September 2022 a French-Italian workshop on “The mathematics of imaging, vision and their applications”.
The workshop will take place at the I3S laboratory of Sophia-Antipolis (France), with talks starting at 2pm on Monday 12 and concluding at 12pm on Wednesday 14.

We will feature plenary talks by:
- Andrés Almansa (CNRS, France)
- Alessandro Lanza (University of Bologna, Italy)
- Barbara Pascal (CNRS, France)
- Giovanni S. Alberti (University of Genoa, Italy)
- Elena Loli Piccolomini (University of Bologna, Italy)
- Elie Bretin (INSA Lyon, France)

Please note that only a maximum number of 50 people will be allowed due to the room capacity.
Priority will be given on a first-come-first-served basis so do register ASAP.
Talks will be streamed also via videoconferencing systems.
There will be a limited number of 20-minute slots available for researchers willing to present their work with priority given to young researchers (PhD students, Postdocs)
If you are interested in giving a talk, please provide a tentative title and a short description of your contribution in the registration form by no later than July 14 2022 July 21 2022.
There will be a limited financial support available for selected speakers covering the hotel accommodation costs (2 nights + breakfasts).
